AIR Institute joins the European GILL project to boost women innovators

Last week the kick-off meeting of the GILL project (Gendered Innovation Living Labs - EU Grant Agreement number 101094812) took place. Juan Manuel Corchado, president of AIR Institute, participated in the event together with the other project partners and some representatives of the European Commission.

ICE and AIR Institute presented the conference on European R&D&I programs in Salamanca

Yesterday, February 8, a conference was held on the European R&D programs of Cluster 4 of Horizon Europe, "Digital, Industry and Space", which is part of the Centr@tec program. The conference took place at the headquarters of the Junta in Salamanca.

AIR Institute to participate in the International Innovation and Technology Fair FITECU

AIR Institute will participate in FITECU, the International Fair of Innovation and Technology for Care organized by SIVI. The event, which seeks to give visibility to social innovation, will be attended by Juan Manuel Corchado, president of the technology center attached to this cluster.  Drawing on the design, development and application of innovative technological solutions, experts from all over the world will present their advances at this meeting, thanks to their knowledge they add something essential to social progress: care.

In recent years, we have seen cities undergo a major transformation thanks to high investments in resources and research projects. The challenge of a smart city is to identify intelligent and adaptive assets through which valuable knowledge may be extracted.

IoT analyzes data and extracts this knowledge, and along with the help of other smart city platforms, the government's decision-making and resource allocation can be optimized.

Last week a conference organized by the ICE (Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León) on "Digital Applications in the Food Industry" took place in Burgos. It was held within the framework of the Centr@tec program and aimed at the managers of SMEs in the food sector. The aim of the conference was to promote the interrelation of companies and technology centers in Castilla y León, as well as to facilitate the digital transformation process of industrial SMEs by offering them real solutions.

Centr@tec program holds a conference on digital applications in the food industry

The Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) is organizing a conference on "Digital Applications in the Food Industry" as part of the Centr@tec program, in collaboration with AIR Insitute, CARTIF, the Technological Institute of Castilla y León (ITCL), Cidaut and the Miranda del Ebro Technology Center Foundation (CTME). The event will take place on 26 January in Burgos.

Air Institute participates in the SmartCLIDE project for the creation of cloud solutions

The main goal of SmartCLIDE is to propose a radically new, intelligent cloud-native development environment, based on the principle of programming by demonstration, that will support cloud service creators in the discovery, creation, composition, testing and deployment of complete solutions stacking data-centric services and applications in the cloud.

SmartCLIDE will provide high levels of abstraction at all stages (development, test, deployment and runtime), as well as self-discovery of IaaS and SaaS services.
