The objective of the project “Explainable Artificial Intelligence for the Next Generation Sequencing (AIR-GENOMICS)” is to facilitate the performance of genomic analysis in the clinical setting based on artificial intelligence in the various phases of the NGS data analysis pipeline, together with the study of a set of alternative technologies that allow adapting this analysis flow to the current computational paradigm, improving the existing performance of classical algorithms in the search for genetic variants and their interpretation in clinical practice and transforming the approach to genomic analysis.
