AIR Institute researchers Ricardo S. Alonso Rincón and Albano Carrera González, together with Professor Salvatore Monteleone, are participating as guest editors of the special issue “AI-Driven IoT Solutions for Urban Mobility Challenges” in the journal Sensors (MDPI). This special issue, linked to the ESAUTOMATIX project, brings together research on how Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) are transforming urban mobility, improving the efficiency, safety and sustainability of cities. The deadline for manuscript submission is 30 September 2026.
