The main objective of the project is to investigate various technologies, techniques, tools, methodologies and knowledge aimed at increasing the operational capacity of the processes of interest in the framework of the connected industry, enabling the adoption of production and maintenance solutions in the connected industry. In this sense, the general objective of the project pursued by ALMATIC is to contribute to the improvement of production standards and OEE in the connected industry environment and clinical quality in the healthcare context, directly affecting two aspects, quality control in early stages of the product/diagnosis and the improvement of the performance of the facilities/services thanks to an adequate policy based on predictive systems.
It has been configured as a regional, multi-sector and multidisciplinary R&D Consortium in which a group of companies and research organizations collaborate effectively in a strategic area of the future such as Connected Industry or Industry 4.0. Thanks to this, new business and industrial opportunities will be fostered and their R&D policies will be encouraged, strengthening their hegemony in the sector and extending the culture of R&D cooperation.
